The Latest Lucra Roadster To Be Launched This Year

Lucra Automotive, the California-based sports car manufacture is one of the most upcoming and best in America who is bound to create a new revolution in the auto industry by using innovative technology.
However, most people might not have really heard of Lucra, but can easily recall its popular green and yellow LC470 sports car that was featured in Fast & Furious 6 and was watched by audiences around the world.
The good news is that Lucra has decided to launch a classy sports car model some time during 2013 and this vehicle would be sold alongside the LC470- that has limited takers.  This new model has been named The Design Study Codename 2.2 and has two prominent features that are akin to the LC470- its stout rear and long nose.  However, the difference is that the structure will be sturdier than the LC470 and it will also have a 0-60 mph pick-up range of near about 3 seconds.  However, the main question is:  When will Lucra start rolling out the production of these new cars?
Not many details of the new car have been released by Lucra, particularly about the type of engine used.  It is known that the founder of Lucra- Luke Richards- is very fond of the bulky V8s but at the same time, he also appreciates the British sports cars’ lightweight.  However, keeping into account the structure of the new model, it is definite that the new engine would be light and would possible be sourced from Mercedes Benz AMG or General Motors.
A lot of credit for Lucra’s popularity goes to the movie Fast & Furious 6 that brought the company into the limelight with the powerful green and yellow Lucra LC470 roadster.  Now the company is on the verge of launching a stylish and contemporary-looking sportscar which would be unlike the retro LC470 in terms of its exterior, but is expected to be as strong as its predecessor.  At present, you can see the initial three images that the company has released of the yet-to-be-launched vehicle on their Facebook page.
